CUSTOMIZED EXERCISE ROUTINES
The exercises included in the routines listed here include a number that I have developed using my 20 years of teaching and 40 years of fitness training. The approach I use is so simple and safe, yet at the same time innovative and effective. The lower back exercises are a good example of that. Often people will comment on how their lower back pain disappears after doing my simple movements.
Most exercise videos are just that: exercises demonstrated that you follow along to. The Building Better Balance DVD classes include far more. Each of the 4 DVDs relates different aspects of the aging process to their effect on our balance abilities, customizing which exercises to do based on what we are going through. That process is explained in easy to understand language while the exercises are taking place. As a result your body can absorb more because your mind understands why.
Many students report improvement using Building Better Balance. Some have reported how much easier it is now for them to walk. Some report that they no longer bump into the sides of hallways. Some feel rotator cuff or lower back relief. Many have avoided falls in progress. And certainly many feel their balance has gotten better.
